Message of Thanks From Toghu Association for Culture TAC (TAM) President, Maybelle Boma.

On behalf of the Toghu Association for Culture TAC (TAM) I want to fervently thank all lovers of culture in and out of Cameroon for your love and support that saw us through, in successfully organising of our exhibition and empowerment workshop with designers, which also marked the celebration of our first anniversary. This great success could only be possible in our cultural spirit of solidarity. Despite the bad weather conditions on Saturday October 8, you never gave up answering the call to join us celebrate our pride and identity. I lack words to thank you.

👉To the Congo Basin Institute (CBI), I cannot thank you enough for not just opting to sponsor our exhibition and empowerment workshop, but ensuring that you were on ground with us make the event a wonderful success. The presence of the Africa Director of the CBI, Dr Kevin Njabo was an amazing and great honour for my team and I. This reiterated to my mind that TAC(TAM) can hope more than ever before that we are not alone in this vision to preserve, promote, revive Cameroonian cultural values through Toghu all over the world.

👉To the Solomon Tandeng Muna Foundation, and to my Mentor, Bartonier Akere Muna, I want to thank you for the wonderful partnership right from our days of little beginnings up this point where the dimension of our(TAC) vision keeps expanding day after day. Your support is the greatest encouragement that has made us more determined and committed than ever before. This , I deeply appreciate. Again, thank you.

👉To the President of the Cameroon Bar Association Bartonier Mbah Eric Mbah, I want to thank you for your symbolic presence at the TAC anniversary celebration, and closing ceremony our workshop. Battling through your very tight schedule to be with us , could only be a great honour, recognition and decoration, not just to my team and I, but to the TAC vision.Thank you so much.

👉To designers of traditional wears in Cameroon, our beautiful event couldn’t be possible without you. The future of the Cameroonian culture is in your hands and TAC will always do all it can, to take your beautiful talents and skills, to the widest level. We just started and be rest assured more of such opportunities are coming for you to keep showcasing your good handwork.

👉To T-son Evans, Kitchen Boy, and other artists who showed up at the event, thank you so much for making our ceremony lively. Your performances were so beautiful. You practically reminded our dear guests and the world that our vision is not just limited to promoting culture through traditional wears, but also through music.

👉To all TAC(TAM ) fans and lovers of culture in particular, not leaving Cameroonians in general, thank you for your usual encouragement and support. I remain grateful. Thank you all .
